About IDC

When there’s a desire to be better than the status quo, combined with an interest to make a contribution that’s positive to the world and those around you, there are no limits to what you can do. Great things happen; thus the beginning of IDC in 1995. It was a phone call, a concept and a conversation between two old friends that initially brought this together. A third partner was also asked to join. He helped build the business and has since departed to pursue other interests. Mike Dexter and Joe Iannarino met in 1977 when they worked together at an advertising agency in German Village called Adgraphix. Mike was the art director and Joe the copywriter. Their creativity clicked. They created many noteworthy and memorable campaigns for some of the finest companies in Columbus. Many years had passed and both had moved to other firms, gaining valuable experience in the industry; yet they felt that there was something missing. There were many large design firms and advertising agencies that produced excellent work, but were cost prohibitive to small business and non-profits. It became quickly apparent that there was a need for bigger agency talent from a smaller firm. It was this need that led to the foundation and direction for the successful business that remains today.
